|
|
Hey guys,
We would like to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone who made it to freshers fair to lend us a hand, we had a very successful day with 32 people signing up!
Afterwards we met up and decided on some dates for all kayaking weekends for term 1 and prelimary dates for them are;
Sunday 19th October - day trip
8/9th November - weekend trip
29/30th November - weekend trip
20/21 December - weekend trip
Obvioulsy all trips canot be run without proper support so to make this year as kayak fun as possible we are going to need all the help we can get.
Please let us know whether or not you can make the trips mentioned above. Obviously for the trips we are aiming to get as many people paddling as possible but we will accomodate for everyones different levels and hope to give the more experienced paddlers something challenging - Martyn you could always practice that roll of yours on these easy trips
Please feel free to suggest alternative dates, the trips on the 19th October and 8th/9th November have the mini bus booked up for them already.
Accomodation wise, we need to get a place booked as soon as possible so Im afraid we will need confirmation of who can come by a week today, the 14.10.08 .
Anywone who confirms after this date cant be promised a place where we stay.
If there are any questions please feel free to write back.
Thanks alot,
The 08 Committee |

| I can make all of those trips, even though the late November one clashes with a Dart trip I had planned! (So let me know asap if you cancel that one) |

speaking of thank yous, thank you all for everything you've done so far. It's already fantastic and your work and enthusiasm has been appreciated.
With regards to trips...
I can do the December one, and will see about the early November one if you do change the dates (have got in early for fear of having to share a bed with someone...) |

Stacey, there is very little chance of this being required. Steve just prefers to share his bed with Shags rather than sleep alone!!

The freshers weekend planned for the 8/9th November will now run on 29/30th weekend instead. Further details will follow as they are confirmed.
