... good link Chris but

"although we are not 'families only', we are careful as to who we let onto the park. Well-behaved youngsters are welcome"

doesnt sound too promising!!

I'm gunna keep looking and see if I can find somewhere who wont kick us off after the first night!!! xxx

Well after some more research... and a better look at the website I think that Chris is right..

Llangenith is one of the best surf beaches in south wales and as it is so close to swansea it has good transport links for everyone...

I am going to call the campsite http://www.hillendcamping.co.uk/ tomorrow to see the possibility of letting us on the campsite. It says that groups of 10 of more are able to come by prior arrangement so I will try and work my charm on them! - Thou it will prob mean that all seshes/drinking will be on the beach but that shouldnt be too much of an issue.

Anyway someone will be in contact in the next few days to confirm numbers -
Oldboys - Andy W
Freshers - Miles
Bham - Sam D
Everyone else who doesn't fit into that - Me!

Dont worry about boats/travel yet...

Looking forward to it!!

A plan...

OK well our favourite campsite (http://www.hillendcamping.co.uk/) doesn't like groups of more than 10.. therefore we will not be visibly a group of more than 10 whilst on the actual campsite. Everyone will pitch up within their group of freshers, oldboys, bham other etc.. shouldnt be too much of a problem.

Weather is looking good (http://www.netweather.tv/index.cg...7769~Swansea%20Bay;sess=#forecast) so we will spend all 'group time' on the beach so hopefully we will get away with being a big group but not...

You cannot book the site and places are allocated on a first come basis. The only way this could be a problem if for people coming for the Saturday night only. However as you pay (£20) by tent and not by number of people if needs be we can just squash the extra ppl into other tents.

Although weather is looking good at the mo, surf isn't looking so great (http://magicseaweed.com/Llangennith-Surf-Report/32/)  so bring rounders bats, kites, PLENTY OF ALCOHOL and anything else you think could be fun.

Saturday night will be a bbq so if you have a bbq bring it and we will organise the food on the day. You may want to bring breakfast and lunch with you though.

Just to check, everyone has means of getting there on Friday??

Any questions just give me a call (07787 959790)

Can't wait!!

Ok guys,

I'm going to be driving from Southampton to the campsite (near Swansea) on Friday evening. If anybody lives on that route(ish) and wants a lift, let me know (07786 936346).

I have room for 4 people & 4 boats if needed.
