Hi!Hi guys!
My name is Claire and I am the current captain of Birmingham Uni Kayak Club.
Seeing as our clubs share a city, I was wondering if you guys would be up for a bit of socialising and going boating sometime this term. We're a pretty wide ranged club in terms of ability.
Also if you guys play polo would be awesome to have you guys come along play a few games.

Come to mention it we were thinking of maybe getting a small team together for Polo to take part in BUSA. Providing we have enough interested people, do you think it would be possible for a few of us to come over and play some polo? I've done it before and one other person has but thats it! We aren't allowed suspeneded goals in our prehistoric pool so that rules out any polo going on at Aston!

Yea sure! More than welcome. Our polo sessions are Wednesday 8-9pm, and Friday 9-10pm at the uni pool at the munrow sports centre. Our pool is too small to hold normal 5 on 5 polo games, but big enough for 4 on 4.

Yea we're going to hit the French Alps this year, and I'm currently trying to organise a Scotland trip at easter, if any of you fancy it give me a bell.

I'm the chair of aston this year and we are definitely up for a joint sesh/social at the beginning of next term! lets get it sorted when we get back to uni and get the inconvenience of exams out of the way with.
what weeks are you planning on being in the alps and where are you staying? we're going to be there the 2 weeks starting 14th June!

We're aiming to go to the boater x on saturday 14th June, so around then. Probably stay where we were last year - the camp site at l'argentierre, was well located, and most other unis were there too.

Are you guys still up for a social? Our social sec has proposed a Broadstreet Stumble with a possible 'hairy' theme fancy dress
What dates suit you guys best??
Also, we're looking at hosting a polo tournament some time at the end of feb. It won't be in our pool as its too small, but we're looking into local pools possibly Coseley. You guys will be invited if this goes forward. Currently looking at maybe entering mixed teams, or if there's time, hosting an open league and ladies league.
