...The Misses...Martyn and myself paid a visit to the misses today. We arrived hoping for three gates, but discovered upon entering the car park that she had just gone up to four!!
Boy was she amazing! What a way to break in the new season!
Martyn spent most of his time playing only near with the eddy line or first gate, but I test drove all four! Didn't manage to get the elusive flat spins in each gate one after the other, but did manage to get at least one in each gate during the session though.
Whilst we were there locky came over and opened up all the side gates, including the one at the top of the eddy making hard work to even get on the wave.
Considering that this was the first decent weekend of the season, the queue was surprisingly small. There were times that, by the time you had flushed off and paddled back up to the weir, the queue had gone!
Can't wait for the next session....

So did Martyn have a bash with no paddles?
That is some pretty hard core no-paddles action. You mush have had to collect him and his boat halfway to London!!!
It's a shame we missed it, I'm on the slippery slope of DIY now!

ok. I have a lecture till 1 today and then me and Muppet are planning on coming down to hurley for a bit of 3/4 gate action.
anyone else fancy leaving work early to come down.
not sure if I'll still be there by 8 or whenever rick and dave said they would make it down but will be there for a while.
