Mate, would of course be good to sort something.
Have a shoulder injury at the mo though, so paddling is on hold.

J-Ro, I am certainly thinking that getting some pre alps paddling in is a cracking idea. I havent paddled for a while but think the Tyweryn would be an awesome call to get some proper mashing in at the bottom of the ski jump. Spoke to chriskew yesterday and I think he would be well up for it next weekend I.e. 29th or 30th April.....what ya think? _________________ The Sco

ive just had a look at the tryweryn for this weekend. its a big TBC, which I think will become a big "no release".
I had a look on line for HPP levels and whether they will actually let anyone other than slalom boats on it and couldnt find anything. Holme Pierrepont hall looks very nice though. does anyone no if this is open. or how to find out?? |

Could we make it Saturday to go to Wales. This way I can come along to the election night then paddle the next day. Providing the Twyweryn is relaesing its load on Saturday that is..... _________________ The Sco

In days of old, there would be a trip to Sennen (Lands end) for a 3/4 day beach/surf/drinking/revising holiday round this time of year.
Who did end that great tradition?.......anyone.....anyone....(martyn Im looking in your direction)....anyone.
Im free this weekend for some paddlesport.
Some surfing would be fun.

Well lets go surfing then...
Its not far to the coast from anywhere really. I could certainly cope with a spot of camping/scrubbing action Saturday night somewhere after a hard days surfing. Disposable bbq and some steaks...cant go wrong! Nights are quite mild at the mo so it wouldnt be such a ball ache. Head over towards West Coast of Wales perhaps??? _________________ The Sco

Yep surfing sounds like a plan, then I can feel like I'm actually still in some hot country and not actually here.
West wales or North Devon I think... tents beer and boats. Great. _________________ Emski B |

Right, so I've made a decision, we're off to Tryweryn Saturday morning (9cumecs confirmed on the mad-woman line) then probably over to the coast, maybe anglesey camping saturday (&sunday possibly) night then surfing sunday/monday. Let us know if you wanna come along, we might have some room in our new monster beast of a car.

What car you got?
I may be up for the Saturday, but have kind of volunteered to do something on Saturday night already. I cannot do the full weekend though. Anyone up for just a day trip (Any day?) to the Tryweryn or similar? Sunday or Monday would be best for me?

Potter, do you have transport for saturday?
Bex, we've no plans for next weekend, so we're not saying that we can't do next sunday too! Let us know what you fancy and we might be able to fit something in!
Chris, Martyn, wot you up to?
