J,
Has a plan for term one been organised yet? Do you have any plans for boating any time soon?
I am hoping to get to Hurley shortly.

wassup.
right plan is as follows
I have spent quite a while trying to find out when the Teifi tour is. does anyone know? last year it was at the begining of november but their website seems to have shut down.
21st oct. anyone fancy going to wales? will need to do something with freshers so was thinkning the glaslin? ne other ideas welcome.
nov 11/12 is wwr, but if people think that is too expensive we will be going to wales.
Dec 2/3 will be a wales weekend. depending on who is coming I was thinking conway on day 1 and getting a few rivers done on day 2. I really want to do the ogwen as well at some oint.
Jan 20th AU Ball.
need some other ideas about rivers to do. the treweryn is really expensive and not that amazing. was thinkning of doing something on the 18th or 25th nov.
will probably do a few trips to MEM on wed afternoons as well. |

Llandysul Paddlers
J, the Teifi tour this year takes place over the weekend of October 28/29th. The details of it seem to be the same as last year, except they have now added the following warning:
| Quote: | | Camping is on any dry grass that you can find please try and find high ground and not next to the river as it may burst its banks! |
Wonder why they have included that?

Hello everyone!
J'ro you have done a great job of getting the forums up and running again, and sorting out lots of trips .. I'm just gutted that I probably won't be able to make any of them!
Stevo and I were just wondering if there's gonna be a big canoe table at the AU Ball that we could join? We have found some fairly cheap flights, and are up for flying back - but you guys would have to make it worth our while (come on shags and next directory - get yourselves on the forums!!)
Last year Catalogue judged himself way too cool to attend the ball, and we just wanted to check that Mr self confessed Eye Candy will be presenting himself this year? And all the other old guys too, plus it would be great to meet all the freshers. Basically if you're all gonna be there then I'm well up for joining in the fun.
Shags and Catalogue, I seem to remember that last year there was a communal full english for 20 the morning after the ball, served at the casa de Amy&Cazzabelle and rustled up by our in-house chef at the time: Stevo. Will you guys be providing it this year?

Hiya Jro,
Sounds like a good plan, we might be free on weekend of 21st if you want a hand... wil check tonight. Nov & Dec dates should also be fine for me, tho dave might be off tripping round the world, so I might try and join you in the minibus if at all possible! Would be good if the teiffi wasnt flooded this year! Also for anyone interested, the Tyne tour is the bonfire night weekend, which I'd love to get to but seems a distant reality from berkshire!!
What are the freshers like? any good paddlers?

'sup?!
Cant make the weekend of the 21/22 Oct....doing other sardistic things like 12 hour endurance cycle rides....
I will make sure I get myself on a wales trip if you have another one before xmas.
Teifi Tour would be another good one to go on, but like Emma said...as long as its not completely flooded out and everyones cars start floating away. _________________ The Sco

Hey is anyone actually doing the whitewater race? Would be good to earn some points at BUSA I guess. Then again entries will probably have closed by now. Also, how many ppl can actually paddle wavehoppers!
