Right we've got a mini bus sorted out for this weekend and are hoping to do the teifi tour. Only problme is they havnt replied to a single email so we are not sure whther or not they have space for us. If we dont get a response by tomorrow evening or latest wedneday we will do another river.

Basically, we are just trying to get an idea of numbers so if anyone is free this weeknd and willing to paddle please let us know.

Cheers

Shags

There's loads of stuff in any part of wales that could be done. Hav a look on UKRGB. I'll have a flick through some guide books. Ultimately I'm up for joining you boys if there's a wiff of grade 4.

OK, so the grand plan is........

we are going to teifi. we're going to do the river early so that those who want to go and do another river in the afternoon can.

if this is goig to work it does mean being on the river by 9.30 at the very latest.

bring your alarm clocks

Greetings all,

Well as I'm going to be away for a while I need to get the paddling in while I can, so Ems and I are going to pop along for the Teifi tour, if that's cool with you JRo.

Need to sort out the travel with Martyn though.

See ya all there!

very jealous guys - have a good time at teifi and remember to park cars well away from the river Wink

caz - are you going? if so, I reckon it'd be a good idea to take some pegs and maybe peg down the tent?

is the crystal palace sesh tent going to be attending???

have fun guys and someone do a report when you get back yeah!

Oh yeah,

I almost forgot, JRO have you spotted my deck in the store? It's a black playboater one with the yellow strap cut off. It's got Martyn Reed written on the label inside.

I'm borrowing Diane’s spare one at the mo.

Cheers

I like the look of the river Mellte, which is very runable with loads of good pic ops. but it does say you need a lot of time. ill give rachael a ring later to find out whats good to run around that area.

a quick trip report

fri- 5 hour drive, followed by dr*nking, ann-marie doing handrolls in the pool, and lauran sleeping in a bangor uni tent.

sat- flat water, followed by flat water, followed by ann marie complaining about it being boring, then swimming twice on the only rapids on the river. then found a random seal launch/jump place which we spent ages on, then back to the bar to get drunk.

sun- half decint rapid to begin with (swims for shag em and emma). followed by flat water, more flat water, and even more flat water, then to the hard bit. Martyn, Muppet, Joe, dave and me went down in play boats (swim for Joe- apparently he didnt pull his deck- debate over what level of spanking he got on the ASKEW levels of beating- its got to be moderatly high) then back to brum for about 11.30.

swim tally for the trip

(I cant actually remember, did make a list but its back at the flat, ill edit the tally 2mo)

im now going to try and put some pics on the website

Hmm ... the fact that there seems to be a fresher called Stevo is casuing concern .. we can't possibly have another Stevo to rival our very own Mr Challenge.

Can we get this fresher an appointment with the Dpoll people quick sharp please? Alternatively, a very, very good sesh name similar to Shag 'em and Catalogue's, so that it sticks and never leaves him?
