I was inspired to make this post by a news item on local tv today.

How many of us can say, that we haven't indulged in some post imbibing japery? A moonlit trip down the Loop, or a swim at the Rab? As canoeists do we feel ourselves to be "better able to weigh up the risks" or does alcohol cloud our judgement as much as the next man?
